A Dialogue Between A Bud And A Flower

Bud asks the flower, “Why are you so happy? An insect will come and suck all your nectar, and you will shed all your petals soon.

No one will remember your existence after a few days. Thinking of your mortality, I feel scared to open my petals.”

The flower replies, “Listen my dear, I know I will be no more after a couple of days but I am not scared to die.

I enjoy the smooth touch of the wind.

I love the way the sun brightens my petals.

And I love the way insect kisses me.

All these joys are enough to keep me happy for the moment, although these joys are not everlasting.

I am giving my nectar happily, because sacrificing my life on someone will make my life worth living.

Fate of life is death, so I am enjoying my moments of happiness.

I advise you to live in the moment because nothing is everlasting.”
